From a far off island nation, Sukeko spent years as an authority charged with making sure no village had more than the bare minimum. Despite her hatred of the task, she had no ability to fight back against it, and thus was raised in a land where the ruling powers cared not for those below them.Eventually, a long-lost friend returned home and disposed of the despots. With her help, they began the process of bringing the island to the level of happiness and technology that Eorzea had found. The friend was charged with organizing trade, while Sukeko and a few of the remaining admins worked together to do what they could with the island's limited resources.Unfortunately, communication with the friend fell through. Moons of not hearing any update led to concern, as the people began to grow upset, knowing what they could have but did not. With no other choice, Sukeko left the island nation and headed for Eorzea to locate her lost friend.Upon arrival, she found her reception to be far worse than she expected. She was robbed of all her gil and equipment, and left to fend for herself in an unfamiliar land. Night after night of painful travel led her to Ul'Dah where she had the chance to learn of the Gladiators. With no other useful skills for the area, she resigned to pit fighting.A loner in a land that proved to be inhospitable, Sukeko now fights and saves, hoping to find her friend and get back home to continue the job they both started.

- She often spends her spare time looking for clues as to where her friend has gone. Anyone who advertises such services can find a welcoming tone from Sukeko- She often fights with other gladiators, and will occasionally take offers for fights out of work time, given enough gil on the line- She has an affinity for gardening and can't quite help herself when she sees a lovely garden. Oftentimes she'll stop to paint the scenery if she has the equipment- She loves fishing. Dealing with the fish she catches...not so much, but she can be found occasionally casting a line anywhere with water- In her spare moments, she does try to organize trade for her home - needing all sorts of materials, and more than happy to trade what can only be found there. Or more common items- Looking for someone to teach her a fighting skill that isn't blade and shield - she considers it too bulky and doesn't enjoy it. (Prefer SAM for this particular hook, but I'm more than open to others ^-^)
